FINANCIAL LITERACY IS POWERFUL

Financial literacy is important for everyone - and especially important for survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse.  Here's why:

ReStart Flyer (5) (1).png

· Many of us have experienced financial abuse in the past and the people who abused us didn’t want us to be independent. This made it impossible to learn financial basics like our peers.

· For survivors, money isn’t *just* about acquiring things. It’s about having options and safety when we need it the most.

· Because financial independence puts us in a position of power and let’s us make better  decisions for our lives.

· Vulnerable populations like survivors are more likely to fall for    financial scams. Education is  power!

SO WE'RE EXCITED TO HOST JWI'S RESTART PROGRAM!
